Terms of Service
Last updated October 13, 2026
These terms cover your use of PostcardRobot. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
What the service does
You choose a service area and the property signals you want to act on. When a matching property appears in our data, we generate a postcard from your template and send it to the property address through our print and mail vendor. You are charged per card sent.
Credits and payment
Cards are paid for with prepaid credits at $1.99 per card. Credits are bought in packs and are debited when a card is submitted to the printer. If a card fails to print or is returned as undeliverable, the credit is refunded to your balance automatically.
Property data is charged at our cost. Each time we pull property records for your service area, the records our data provider bills us for are debited from the same balance at $0.10 per record, whether or not a record becomes a card. The first pull of a signal without dates buys its full history once, so later pulls can tell new records from old ones; those records are not mailed. We never start a pull your balance cannot cover, and data charges are not refunded.
Apart from a card USPS returns as undeliverable, a card that has been printed and mailed cannot be refunded, because the postage and paper are already spent. You can cancel a queued card before it is submitted, and you can pause your account at any time. Unused credits are refundable for 12 months from purchase on request.
If you enable auto-recharge, you authorise us to charge your saved payment method for the pack you selected whenever your balance runs low. You can turn it off at any time in billing.
Your content and your claims
You own what you put on your cards, and you are responsible for it. You grant us the licence needed to print and mail it. You confirm that you hold any licences your trade requires, that offers you advertise are real and honoured, and that your card does not misrepresent who you are or your relationship to the recipient.
What we will not print
We will refuse, and may remove your account for attempting:
- Mail impersonating a government agency, a court, a bank, or any official notice.
- Claims we know to be false, or offers you do not intend to honour.
- Content that harasses, threatens or targets a specific individual.
- Mail to an address on the do-not-mail list, which we block automatically and which cannot be overridden by any setting.
Recipients
Anyone who receives a card can remove their address at postcardrobot.com/stop. Removals are honoured across every account on the platform, permanently, and are not yours to reverse — including for addresses removed because of a card you sent.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Delivery timing depends on our print vendor and USPS and is outside our control. Data about properties comes from third-party and public-record sources and may be incomplete or out of date; we do not warrant its accuracy.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Cards already submitted to the printer will still be mailed.
Changes
We will update the date above and notify account holders by email before material changes take effect. Questions: support@postcardrobot.com.
